Anglican Church Women

Once a month, our women meet to plan how they will serve our church and our community.  Some of the projects they undertake are Comfy Sacks, handmade totes filled with items that children, who are taken from their homes, will need;  Donations to the Women's Shelter; Birthday Cake Kits as they believe that all children should have a birthday cake with all the trimmings, etc.  They do these projects through donations and two yard sales a year.

Altar Chapter

Serving God at His Altar

The ministry of the Altar Chapter is to make sure that everything needed during our services is in readiness.  The table is set for communion; the candles are ready to be lit, the hangings are changed to reflect the liturgical time of year.  During special times of the year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc.), the Altar Chapter decorates our church to celebrate the season and enhance the atmosphere for worship.

Anglican Fellowship of Prayer

Let Us Pray

The Anglican Fellowship of Prayer meets every other Tuesday morning from 11 - 12 in the Chareris room off the hall during which time they pray for concerns within and outside our church.  They also learn how to pray, using the Bible as their guide.

Bazaar

Winter Wonderland Bazaar and Tea

Our Christmas season bazaar is a joyous ocassion during which most of us play a part, whether it's in donating items for sale, manning the booths, decorating, serving tea, making sandwiches, baking, canning, knitting, and the list goes on.

We were so happy to welcome back this wonderful ministry after several years of missing it due to COVID.

History of the Bazaar

Pie People

Turkey . . . Yum!

Our church has the well-deserved reputation for being THE place in Chatham-Kent to purchase great tasting turkey pies.  Our dedicated volunteers make over 4000 pies a year; some donated to our yearly Bazaar where they sell out in minutes.  Others are donated to parishoners or sold to the community.  The money they raise is donated to the church to be used at the discretion of the Wardens.  Some of the projects funded by these wonderful people are the paving of the parking lot, the complete furnishing of our large kitchen, a floor scrubbing machine to keep the hall floor in excellent condition, etc., etc., etc.

Our then rector, the Rev. Canon CJ Adams, started this ministry to give comfort to the survivors of the residential schools and to show them we care.
